Hello, everyone!...and I bet a lot of you forgot I even had an account (that's totally ok, I practically did too :)). It's been quite an interesting and experienceful summer here in Rochester. Right now I'm just trying to sort out what to say that might actually interest some people. Hmmm ( Read more... )

Yay for Ultimate Frisbee and baby stars! Glad to hear that you're having fun while working and making money. I knew you'd make a bunch of friends there and you know you love those learning curves!!! Can't wait till you get back so you can tell us about some of the weird people you came across (physics majors in New York? come on, I know they're not boring!). And then we can wash all kinds of laundry and dirty up some dishes just so we can put them in the DISHWASHER!!! See? I knew you'd be excited! haha...see you later chica!!!

Honestly, I thought this was a cosmetic journal. One just to say you had one. I didn't expect actual entries. Good thing I already knew all that. I don't have anything good to say, and momma always said not to say nothing in that case, so I'll leave now. I'm sure you're thankful, as ever.

maybe we can get the honors program to do an independent study class for all of us- something like social life 101. It could expand and later replace the seminars even. the final senior project? a huge party of course!! Glad to know you're doing well- can't wait to hear all about it when you get back! On a serious note though, we should try to set aside some sort of time to get together- maybe a weekly meal type thing?? Something we can all set aside and take a half hour or hour break from life . . .

Replace seminars, what? Count me in!! Social Life 101, I like it, I like it...we'd have to conduct careful and highly scientific studies of various beer and liquor brands, watch many interesting and socially relevant films from such great social commentators as Mel Brooks, Kevin Smith, and the guy who did Dirty Dancing, and mayhap venture *off-campus* (contain yourselves, now) to explore the World Beyond. I'm sure Michelle will go for it ;).
As for the weekly meal thing, what do you think about a potluck-type-food-thingy? (I'm totally saying that to get Mary to make dessert :)) Each bring a dish, someone bring the wine, someone provide the dishes and place...just like, as this one guy here who doesn't speak English well would call it, a "communist meal" :).

Wily rascal! I would be only too happy to do desserts! They are my favorite cooking item ;). Just provide the venue, and I'll be as communist as the next man. :)

Never thought I would ever hear Mary Ross call herself a communist. But, if you have to be a communist to eat her desserts, then dammit, you can call me a Red bastard. hehe. Anyways, I totally think that we should do the pot luck dinner thing. I have learned to cook dinner type things while living on my own. OOH! I'll do tacos or something. :) Anyways, glad you are doing well, Gail. Can't wait for you to come home. I'm lonely at night in this apartment. :)
