It sucks but today's the last day of term break... Now it's on to the madness of the final school term this year @__@

20 teaching days till the end-of-the-year examinations! It's sheer madness!
I'm NOT looking forward to it. =(

Actually, I hope my students can get to the exams in one piece! =P
I am gonna have to push them hard to finish all the required lessons before they take the examinations, and then kill myself over the increased load of marking their assignments. @___@

My best friend here is a professor (teaching Japanese!), and she talks about all the work involved, including the dreaded grading process. (^_^;

I am just a teacher, not "the" teacher... hahaha!! I am quite insignificant... =P

I teach English, Math and Science in an elementary school and my students this year are 7-year olds. =)
Can't be compared to a professor (Wow!)

The plus point would probably be that my students are cuter than college students! Hahahaha!!! (^0^)>

you're a P1 teacher! how interesting ^^ ... i teach kindergarten kids as part of my local work and sometimes older ones overseas, but i still find the younger ones so much more fun & adorable ^^ ... but i don't envy school teachers' workload, my sis was teaching for awhile but she decided to move to HQ not long after ^^;

Thank goodness you understand the woes of local teachers. (^_-;) Right now, I don't think I would recommend anyone to be in my profession. It's sad but true.

What kind of classes do you run for the kids? Sounds exciting and interesting. =D

me & my biz partner run math classes for kindy kids locally but we do run other assorted courses in KL for older children... it's pretty interesting, but the biz management bit can be a chore ^^;

yeah, i've got a few teacher friends so i do know how it is... though a few have left, a couple of them are surprisingly still at it ^^
