[Of course Gilbert is out. He's not a kid. Plus he was hungry so he zipped by the convenience store to get some bread (to go with his wurst!) and hot chocolate. He's on his way back to the dorms when he sees the kid]

[Brotherly instincts take over and gently pulls the boy closer to him to get him warm. He murmurs softly, slipping into German] What happened? Where are your parents?

[Cursing softly under his breath, he pulls the boy's closer around him, buttoning it up quickly, before pulling off his own jacket and bundling him up in it too. He shivers too at the first touch of cold air, but he ignores it as best as he can] I'm taking you to the place I stay, okay? Don't be afraid.

[With that, he picks up the boy and carries him away to the boys' dorms as quickly as he could]

[Eventually manages to rush them into the boys' dorms. He feels so grateful for the heat once he closes the doors behind them. He takes a moment to relish it as he leans back against the door, still holding the boy securely in his arms]

[Peeks his blond head out of the jacket and looks around with instant, sharp curiosity. His big blue eyes widen at the sight of Ludwig's dogs and he reaches out with one hand, clearly unafraid of them]

[Looks to the kid when he reaches for the dogs, smiling a bit at that] You like dogs, huh? [Ruffles the kid's head fondly. He's cute] You and my bruder would get along great. [He starts walking off to his room so he could get new, warmer clothes for the boy and to help him change]

...You'll see. Anyway. [Gilbert gets up, wraps the kid with a blanket on top of the coat and his jacket he's wearing and goes to his closet to look for clothes] We have to get you warm, fast. How long have you been out there anyway? [Finds clothes and goes off to the bathroom to prepare a hot bath]

Should totally force myself to sleep soon... (Hahaha, but HRE is so spoiled!)
