[Berwald's just taking a walk outside, taking a break from the last few requirements needed before the summer vacation. It's been an eventful year for him, he thinks, especially with that Maid Cafe recently. Not a lot of people know, but he's behind the pastries that were served back then...]

[People stuck in trees, therefore, shouldn't really surprise anyone]

[Berwald stares up at the girl up there, wondering if she's all right]

[Her feel swing back and forth with absolutely no care in the world, smiling cheerfully despite being stuck in a tree. Until tall, blond, and scary approach from underneath. Floriana squeels and leans down to wrap her arms around the branch like a monkey]

Go'way! W-What're you looking at anyway? I'm fine~!

[mgunbake]

[He watches the girl wrap herself around the branch and thinks whether the branch is strong and thick enough to support her. It looks like it, but if she keeps on doing that...]

...Y' sure?

[She wibbles; Berwald frightened her for whatever reason. Her words were partially muffled by her arms and the branch as she says,] Y-Yes! I'm not stuck! [Deny deny deny]

Really! I promise! Please don't hurt me!

[Berwald is used to people being scared of him, but this makes him sigh a little. It's not really his fault he's tall, blond, and scary]

'o says I w's goin' t' hurt you?

... Poor Berwald xD I FEEL BAD

[It took her a minute to understand what the guy said (her english was decent, but this... was a category of its own), and settles down a little as it hits her] Y-You aren't going to hurt me?

[She ponders this] Ve... What are you doing here then?

[He shakes his head] No.

[He looks around idly at the scenery. The grounds around the school is well-landscaped and beautiful] 'Takin' a walk.

Oh... [And with that, she trusts the guy. Just a few little words changed her feelings towards people, it seems. Floriana is smiling now, as if that little scene never happened]

[She looks around as Berwald does, though her view is a little more obstructed with leaves and branches] A walk! I see~ This is such a pretty school, no? I'm glad I transferred over!

[She reminds him of a puppy, really, and like a lot of other people, he likes puppies. They're not complicated and very sweet]

Yer new? [That explains why he hasn't really seen her around before]

[She nods and waves her arms exhuberantly. And then she wobbles and quickly returns her grip to the branch] Ahh, yes, I just arrived a week or so ago~ I love it already, even though I don't really know where anything is at yet [Which is probably why she finds herself wandering over to trees and getting herself stuck in them]

I am Floriana, by the way~ Who are you?

[mgunbake]

[He watches her wave and wobble and steps closer to the tree, just in case he needs to do some catching or picking up. He nods at her words]

B'rwald.

Bear-wald? [She smiles joyously. Hey, she made a new friend today] Nice to meet you! Ve, am I keeping you from your walk though?

[mgunbake]

Berwald. [He speaks more clearly, gently correcting her, as his eyes glance at the branch she's currently sitting on] 'S'all right.

[His walk can wait; he's more concerned that Floriana would fall]

That's what I said; Bear-wald~ [Blame it on the accent] Can I call you "Bear?"

[She smiles brightly down at the man, typically not-so-ladylike as her legs swung childishly from their dangling position. Floriana would have liked to take the walk as well (and probably annoy Berwald into seppuku), except she was just a little stuck. However, the Italian was too stupid to ask for help] Ne, you might be standing around for a while if you stay... I, eh, like it up here~

... [He shrugs. It's not so bad. He can deal with "Bear"] Sure.

Hmmm. [Considers this and looks towards the view she probably has] Good view?

[She probably does, but it's still not a good enough reason to stay up in a tree too long...] H'w long've ya b'n up th're?

Hooray! "Bear." It is such a cute nickname~ [Now that she had a better first impression of Berwald, he did in fact remind her of a cute, cuddly teddy bear]

Eh, yes, the view is beautiful! [Kind of a lie? She had a decent view at best, since there was quite a bit of sticks and leaves in the way] I think I've been here for about an hour so far~ [And she's found that not many people walk by this tree]
