It has, and that has been my fault. I've thrown myself into my work as usual and made little time for those around me. And yet there has been no one to stop me... so I just keep working...

Then perhaps you need someone else to do that for you as a sort of backup for when the one you depend on cannot. We can't very well have you overwhelming yourself.
