I love the silly thoughts Merlin had.
Like:
"Would it be something big and dangerous or strong and elegant? What if it was a worm? "
or
"If Merlin didn't show up at all and neglected his duties completely Arthur might think something was wrong. Or he might sack him."

I too wonder at what happens when Merlin wakes up. XD
