Movie review: Attack the Block
I was excited to see this movie since it was made by the folks who made Sean of the Dead. Alas, this movie failed for me even without comparing it to such a great film.
Young inarticulate hoodlums just don't make compelling heroes to me, even if they are fighting aliens. The lack of intelligence among most of the characters helped cover the lack of intelligence of the film, but still left me flat.
