19 staples behind the cut
Why would I put a picture of 19 staples behind a cut? Because those staples are holding my flesh together over where they put the 4 pieces of my left clavicle back into one. :)
For anyone who hasn't heard the story: I made a dramatic diving frisbee catch, like 100 I've made before, but just had a freakishly bad landing. Got surgery to set the bone (it had a displaced fracture plus 2 other fractures) last Wednesday, and they put 10 screws through a metal plate to hold the bone together. Overall, it's been not nearly as bad as I would have expected.
