There was briefly a plan to do a Rose Tyler series as well, but that was scrapped because Davies thought that people might not be willing to see Rose in action without the possibility of the Doctor wandering along at some point.

There's a separate K9 series being produced for Jetix.

I hope that the new Sarah Jane series will do better than the first attempt years back. That never got beyond the pilot episode. There's also been a series of audio plays featuring Sarah Jane, produced by Big Finish.
