Supernatural

Well that was a depressing episode. The show is definitely beginning to tread some very dark waters. I like angst and all, and dark stuff, but I like some light in there too. I think that lighthearted feeling from the first season is what I'm missing so much. The show is becoming so dark that it's feeling heavy.

And yet... it's still an amazing show. It's become very mature, that's for certain. In fact I daresay its one of the most mature shows on the CW.

I like how it deals with the moral issues of whether or not saving a Reaper and allowing all these 'good people' to die is the right thing to do.

Sam is kinda becoming scary, and for me to say that is something else. The last thing Pam said to him, it was really cutting, and I like the reaction it got from Sam. Hopefully it'll help him figure out where he's going and what he's doing.

I just wonder what the next episode is going to do to Dean psychologically. He's already got issues with what he's done. Though maybe it'll bring a bit of closure for him? Who knows. Can't really comment on an episode I haven't seen.

This one was pretty good on it's own, but I think it's mostly there just to set up the next one.

As a side note, Sam sitting on the floor next to the closet and talking to that boy? It was both cute and heartbreaking and I loved every moment of it.

So yeah, Supernatural's back in full swing and I love it. :B

Watched "Gospel Hill" today. I'll admit, the main reason I even was interested in the movie is 'cause I knew Taylor Kitsch was in it. Once I read the synopsis of it though, it got me more interested in the story. It's about a small town that has it's issues with race (Southern States). This company comes in and wants to build a golf course and a more affluent neighbourhood over the poorer district, under the guise of producing more jobs for the people it relocates. This brings up issues from the past, as an African American man was assassinated for protesting the same thing back in his day.
Anyway, I have a hard time describing it in anyway that would have people wanting to run out and rent it, but I'd still say give it a shot.

Resident Evil 5 tomorrow! ...and an 8 hour shift... but more importantly RE5!
