Supernatural
I really don't know what it is about this episode, but I was cringing a few times at just how cheesey it was. Which, I mean, I know it can be quite cheesey, but this was excessive.
I think I want to blame Brady for that.
There was really nothing of great note for me in this one... I do like Crowley though, he's conniving, smart-mouthed, duplicitous and all, like the previous demons in the show, but not over-bearing as they were. Or maybe the British accent softens it... Either way, I like him.
Again Brady just seemed to be trying too hard (or the actor that plays him, whichever).
Uhm... yeah. *shrug* Didn't see too much of the boys really...
Aww, puppy fight! I kinda really want to see what Hellhounds look like. I mean, I'm glad they go with the invisible route rather than making really cheap CG models and all, probably better to leave it up to peoples' imagination.
The fight between Sam and Brady at the end should've been much more epic than it was. Espeically with that build up. Bare knuckle boxing! Or, you know, something. I guess Brady was being a little pansy and wanted to die after what Crowley did, but still. It left me wanting a lot more.
I like Sam's seething hate, and how he still managed not to kill him right away, earning Dean's trust.
As a random interjection right here... I love Jared's eyes. Always have, but I felt the need to point this out since we got a few really good shots of them this time 'round.
My fear now, is that they're just going to do a brief thing with Pestilence so they can get to Death. The pacing of the season is quite off, but I suppose that's due to the sudden onset of another season (or three, WTF?).
Have to say though? Death looks pretty swanky. Partially because it looks like he went to the same tailor as the one I designed. XD And he's got a cane. Canes are insta-cool for me. Lol.
But yeah. Basically a boring filler episode. *shrug*
And I'm off to go see Yoav!
