Supernatural
Epic. EPIC. Loved this episode and can now see why the previous one was pretty much just set up. I would've liked them to do a bit more with Pestilence. Matt Frewer for the win! He played a badass horseman. I'd say the most badass, but then Death entered the picture...

Castiel's introduction? Yeah, it was awesome, but I think Death's wins for most kick-assery. I'm also highly amused that his design is rather similar to the Horseman Death that I thought up. His absolute disinterest in human life, or just life in general and his weariness of pretty much everything was fabulous. You really got the sense that this is an ancient being. I really like how they're showing that the Horsemen aren't on the same level as angels and demons, and in Death's case at least, gods. Death's pompous attitude and calling Lucifer a brat having a temper tantrum? Love it.

Now then, as for Castiel: Super happy he's back and while it's sad he doesn't have his awesome angel powers, I like that the boys' latest tool of Deus Ex Machina has been revoked and now they have to rely on their own strength for a change. Castiel saving Sammy with the sawed off made me stupidly happy though. ^^

Bobby can walk again! I'm super happy for him too! Only, I'm worried about what happens if Crowley does return his soul. Does that rescind his returned legs? Hmmm... It would be just like a demon to do that too: "Here you go, JUST KIDDING!"

Big hugs for Bobby too for going: "HEY! Sam's a nice guy, remember?" I loves me some Sammy and while I like angst and like him being the angsty, hurt one it's nice to see him appreciated too 'cause for most of this season he's been doing the majority of the work. Super protective big brother Dean is back as well, lying to Death's face and all, and that is another cause for joy in my eyes.

...the Croatoan virus... I don't know if it's just me, but their new use of contacts really reminds me of "28 Days Later" now. I mean, the whole rage!zombie thing did in the first place, but having watched said movie just the other day and then seeing this... it's very similar. Not that I mind. ^^ I'm pretty much happy with any sort of zombie apocalypse being sneaked into my favourite show.

Preview for season finale: O_o HOMG.

Well, it's been a busy week for me. ^^;

Yoav concert: SUPAH awesome. It would've been more fun if someone actually went with me, but as it happened, no one could. I just stood around like a knob until Yoav came on. I also arrived a bit later and there were no seats left, so my back was in excruciating pain... It was worth it though. He played favourites from his first album and a great selection from his new one. He came out afterward too and visited with fans. I got to talk to him again and I must say, he's definitely an amazing, charming man. Such a nice guy.

Terry's birthday at the gay bar: That was a new experience. O_o I'm not one for going out to clubs or bars very much to begin with, but it was his birthday and I've not done a lot with Terry as it is, so I thought it'd be nice. I must say, it's quite a nice bar. Lots of security too and the people are just plain nice.
Now, I keep complaining that I look like a guy but people are always like: "No, no, you look great!" Well, I can now say, without a doubt, I look like a guy because I have officially confused the gay community of my city. Even the bouncer was like: "Hello Sir--Mam."

... yeah. Awesome, that.

"The Losers": When jdkusanagi came back from his vacation in Florida (lucky bum), we met up at the downtown mall and had lunch then went and saw "The Losers". OMG, I love that movie. It's my latest obsession. :B Being that Jeffery Dean Morgan is in it, I thought his character would be my favourite. Turns out it's the sniper, Cougar. ^^ He's like the Snake Eyes of the group... the type of character I usually like. Very badass. Also, not played by Justin Long like I had originally thought, but by a Spanish actor by the name of Oscar Jaenada. I'm interested in seeing some of his other movies, apparently he's won quite a few awards.
Anyway, I really want to watch it again (and again...) and I picked up volume one of the comic the other day. I'm already half way through. It's one of the best comics I've read. Not in the same philosophical vein as "The Watchmen", but action packed and just something that's very hard to put down.

"Brothers": Finally saw this too. After renting a dud BluRay disc that caused our new BDPlayer to have a seizure... Anyway, that is a powerful movie. It's almost painful to watch in points and really illustrates what soldiers and their families go through.

"Capitalism: A Love Story": Another great film from Michael Moore. I'm still shocked by the 'Dead Peasant' policies and am seriously confused as to how it can be legal.

Yesterday we celebrated my brother-in-law's birthday. Didn't do anything too special, just hung out here, had a nice dinner and I played "Modern Warfare 2" with him. Still can't beat the Juggernaut level in Special Ops. *flail*

OH! I finally got my platinum on "Final Fantasy XIII" as well! Now... I'm kind of lost. Lol. I spent 150 hours playing that game so now I don't know what to do with myself. Just have to find another game to play.

Aaaaaand, I think that's pretty much it.
