Just a one off serious note from me for all my friends this side of the pond. It can't have escaped your notice that tomorrow the polls open and we will be voting

Completely support what you are saying. Today I'm shocked by the amount of people who aren't going to vote. I work in a coffee shop there are about 19 of us who work there and only 4 of us are going to vote. When I was 18 I couldn't wait to vote, and yet now they don't seem to be bothered. When you consider all those people who sacrificed their lives to enable us to have a choice... I think it's pretty sad. Use your vote :-) Enough said..
For some reason, some people feel it isn't up to them to make a decision, and yet, they will complain when the government get it wrong. It's part of the reason why I vote.
It's also those people who don't vote who can make a huge difference. Even by voting for small parties, because, let's face it, voting BNP(which I am against BTW)is still a two fingered salute to any party and I think that's why people do it.
But people think, oh I like the green party, but they don't stand a chance so I won't vote. Well, they might not stand a chance, but if enough people vote for them, the main parties will think, oh heck, something is going on here.
