That's right! I made it into Lincoln Idol, which is almost exactly like American Idol but only Lincoln High School kids can enter and it's held at the school for thurs. and fri. of this week. Aw, shoot. :( I blew it. I didn't realize (my fault entirely, you SAID so) that it was THIS Thursday and Friday. I'm so sorry. I had assumed it was this coming week.

Crap. No, I can't make it down to San Jose tonight. Shoot shoot shoot shoot shoot.

I'm really sorry. I have League of Women Voters meeting. On the current state of Voting Machines in California.

WAY not as much fun as going to your show.

But...since I can't say the "L" word for fear of jinxing, "Break a leg!" I'll be thinking of you, and singing along in my head. That's a fun song, and I can't wait to hear how things go.

And please...let me know if you have another event coming up, and I'll make sure I am less of a space cadet about it.

It's all right. :3 I didn't make it to the finals, it's more of a contest of how many friends you have than talent really. XD I thought I did well, slipped up in the energy a lot, but it still was fun! : )

I'm glad you still had a good time, and congratulations on getting into the contest in the first place! Hopefully next time you get into one, it will be one where "who you know" isn't as important as "how well you do."
