I got my first site of spring today. The winter aconites are blooming as the snow
melts off of them. I could see a patch by the driveway. Time to bring out some of
the flower icons.

It's a hopeful sign, isn't it? Amazing how they break through the cold that way.

Isn't it lovely to see signs of spring after a hard winter :) We are well on our way here at last although there are still some heavy night frosts.
