When I was wrestling with Rosie after I first got her, I had no idea she would end up being a little sweetheart. She's a year old now. Lost so much of her puppyhood to the Puppy Strangles ( Read more... )

Awwww, that is such a sweet moment, Mary. I hope Pippin gets used to her eventually. How could he ignore such an obviously cute little female ;) xx

He's doing better with her. I'll swear that his tail has been wagging when he's been barking at her. She *is* persistent. The kitty sisters have given up attacking her. It will be interesting if/when I get Honey kitty and her kittens in. (Yes, I think I have a death wish.)I have woken up with the two dogs almost sleeping on each other.

Poor Rosie. She needs a playmate.
;)
I do feel sorry for her as she's trying so hard to be in Pippin's good graces. But he's older and like my Brownie, just wants to be left alone pretty much. Tito gave up trying to make him play after a about a week.

I'm so glad Rosie is well again!

She would love a playmate. .oO(3 dogs....don't know about that) My thought was that they couldn't give me even a guess at Pippin's life span with the heart valve problem. It now seems that it may be close to normal. He sleeps inside all the time, but is very animated outside. (he did try to play with the stuffed bunny toy today, so Rosie may get through to him yet.) I loved the article about old dogs. So very true.
