When I was leaving town the last time I was out there, I parked the car so I could take a longer look at one of those billboards. I still have no freaking clue what it's about.
I got nothin'. Ever since that day we first discussed it, I try to decode the @#$%er whenever I drive by, and I remain clue deficient. I still think it has something to do with Canada, either as an advertisement for tourism in the maritimes, or, possible, as a recruitment tool for some sort of motorcylce pirate Québécois paramilitary unit.
Ultiumately, the truth, if we ever learn it, will likely be far more pedestrian (and therefore far less fun) than any of the insane meanings we might invest in the image.
