To anyone in DC metro: I'm visiting HQ next week -- flying down Sunday afternoon, leaving lateish Tuesday night. I'm letting them put me up in a hotel this time around, so no couch-slumming is necessary, but if anybody wants to meet up for dinner, I'm all over that. I ran the Seattle Marathon yesterday, finishing with a time of 4 hours, 8 minutes, and 42 seconds.

Mike got to go home yesterday. Sounds like the fire is still several miles away at its closest, and the weather has changed a bit for the better - at least for now.

...but running 26 and a bit will have to do.

Every once in a while I fix on a song and can't let go, listening to it over and over again over the course of (hopefully) days or (occasionally) weeks.
