i need ideas! help??
okay. last night i went to my first meeting of what will be fresno's roller derby league, "the smog city roller rebels." it was lotsa fun, and even though i haven't been on a pair of skates in 15 years, i didn't fall once. ohh, yes.

Our league Dixie Derby Girls in Huntsville, Alabama juuuust had our first bout last Sunday, after a years worth of high turnover rates and losing a rink and shit. Because I travel a lot I still can't commit to enough practices to keep team skate status, but I'm a referee now so I still get to yell, scream and skate so all is not lost.
How exciting for you to be starting a league!
I know a lot of the cali girls have mentioned how hard it is to get on a team out there since they've formed for a while now so pioneering a new one from the start reeeally does get everyone's spirits up.
Sakura Sin sounds awesome. Yeah, the pickins for names are very slim now that they're all taken.
