Leave me a comment saying "What up!?" and then...
• I'll respond by asking you five questions so I can satisfy my curiosity
• Update your journal with the answers to the questions
• Include this explanation in the post and offer to ask other people questions
1) Have you ever broken the law? Suppose you can, right now, and get away with it. What are you going to do?
Does stealing "samples" of jelly bellies from bulk candy count? Or defacing someone's house with rotten plums and various other fruits? No? Oh well....how about speeding? Actually, I have driven under the influence once. It was an emergency. I'll never do it again. Thank God I didn't get caught, but I knew I shouldn'tve and I did it anyway. Someone needed me. If I could break the law and get away with it? Um...I might become a villigante. The world needs more real heroes. Or I'd do some sort of weird public nudity statement under the guise of "performance art" or something like that. Break some noise codes.
2) What's something you wanted to write but don't have the ambition to just yet?
Shitenou Reincarnation/Mamoru bromance type fic. Or, like, real fiction work. Like the American Gypsy novel I want to write. Or the chick lit bakery novel that I think would make me money.
3) Someone gives you a pair of panties that have lights in them. What do they look like? Do you wear them?
Yes, I want my cooch to look like a Christmas tree! 'Tis the season and all. It'd be awesome if it was a matching set like a corset or something. It'd be like those little sparkly white lights that some people manage to put in the costumes for Cirque du Soleil or something. The panties would be deep purple boyshorts with lace up sides. Corset to match. Awesome.
4) Choose: one night of smoking hot sex with the guy of your dreams, or a year of just all right, I-don't-get-off-every-time with a guy you're just lukewarm about?
Gosh this one's tough. I think I'm gonna go with one night. I'd rather be 100% there, 100% passionate and really into it than luke warm and bored.
5) Would you want to be FAMOUS? Like, "Glitterati"-level, non-stop cameras in your face fame? Fishbowl fame? Here's some background music :)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQJ9Vi8G Lok Um, no. I don't think I'd ever like to be that famous. When I was younger I really wanted to be on the Real World and be sorta mid level famous. But now that I'm older I'd like to be JK Rowling/Tony Award Winner famous. It's a quieter fame, but some people still go ape. :)
1. Describe your ideal partner.
Um. Natural, sweet and considerate, non smoker, cutely defensive. Makes me laugh, perhaps can sing (I melt for tenors!), understands me. Nerdy, but not socially awkwardly so. Doesn't question my motives constantly. I melt for green eyes and curly brown hair, and fit. I'm not quite sure what would be 100% ideal yet. Need to shop around a little more.
2. If you could become friends with a Sailor Moon character, who would it be and why?
Haruka! I need a little more crazy-over protective-big brother type people in my life. Even if those traits could get on my nerves, it'd be really nice to have someone strong and stable to rely on the way you can rely on Haruka. Plus, she's awesome. And she could get me places fast.
3. Have you ever truly hated someone?
No. I have not. I say I hate people, but I've never honestly meant it completely. Yeah, there are people I don't like and yeah...there are people who've done some really awful things to me that I probably should hate, but I can't just bring myself to close that book. I've forgiven every single one of them. It's easier to live life when you don't have to carry that burden.
4. What's the most embarrassing song you enjoy listening to?
"
Isn't she lovely? Isn't she wonderful? Isn't she lovely made from love..." Oh yeah. Gets embarassing when it plays on the list and everyone stops and looks at you like you've got three heads. Betcha they all secretly like it, too.
5. What first got you into Sailor Moon fanfiction?
Neo Senshi RPG. And then As We Were. (I still love it, V.)
1) Tell me which book you read last and whether or not you liked it.
Hmm....Last read the second Princess Diaries book. It was okay. A little under my level though. I felt I should do it just because and I like Meg Cabot. I might read more. We'll see. I'm currently working on the Elves of Cintra by Terry Brooks. (Which makes me mad. Why, T. Brooks? WHY WITH THE ELVES?)
2) What are your Christmas traditions?
I'm an only child, and we live away from family, so Christmas is usually a quiet affair. The past few years I've had to work on Christmas Eve, but we always have a meatless dinner, (My parents have shrimp scampi and scallops, I get fettucine alfredo.), and because My dad's Polish, we set an extra place setting and put some hay under the table cloth of baby Jesus. (Yes, I know it's a little odd.) Then, Christmas day is always quiet and relaxing. We have a buffet (Coldcuts and cheese and veggies) and mull over presents. I always also make a point to send cookies to friends (We're HUGE bakers) and am starting to make my own gingerbread houses each year. (PS Guys, you want cookies? I'll send them to you if you're not afraid of me being a stalker (I'm not!), pm me addresses. Haha)
3) What animal would you be in a world without humans?
Um, something middle of the food chain. A skunk perhaps? I want to liiiiiiiiiive! Oh! A Dolphin! Yeah, totally!
4) You could either forsake the internet or your TV forever, which one would it be and why?
TV. You can watch tv shows on the internet! I like the variety too. I don't really watch much tv anymore because of the internet. :)/:(
5) Which Sailor Moon character do you like best, which do you dislike most?
Minako or Haruka are my faves. Dislike the most? Uhm. The starlights, as a collective group. God, they're awful.
1. Would you marry a stranger for 10 million dollars?
Nope. I'd rather be poor and happy than rich and miserable.
2. Do you write for any other fandoms than Sailor Moon?
Yes! HP (marauders especially), Firefly, and Kingdom Hearts/Final Fantasy. I've also written Avatar stuff here and there. None of it is really published though.
3. What would you say is your best feature?
Uuuuuhhhhhhmmmm....loyalty to friends?
4. When you meet a person for the first time, what is the first thing that you take note of?
Their hands. I dig hands. Then eyes, and teeth. I have issues with teeth sometimes. I had this one professor's whose teeth were so square they made me uncomfortable.
5. Have you ever been to a "Kappa" party? Be honest, I won't judge.
No. I am in a fraternity, and we have had parties (but they were illegal and therefore unoffical), but they were tame because we're theater nerds. I've just been around a lot of fratty people and seen videos of frats. It might be neat to go to one once, but I'm kinda old now. :/
1.) You've been writing for a while now. How do you think you've most matured as a writer?
Hmmm....making characters and settings more believable is probably number one, and editing out the crazy is probably number two. Editing is one of the best things you can learn to do as a writer.
2.) What do you think will let you know that you've made it as an adult?
Oh, um. Buying a house, landing a secure job, and having enough financial freedom to take a vacation now and then.
3.) Best and worst thing about your job?
Best thing: Color, freedom to be creative, samples. Worst: Mean customers, being on my feet all day and clean up.
4.) Name one insecurity you wish you could just get over.
Not being good enough for other people; not being confident with who I am.
5.) If you could be any kind of car, what would you be and why?
Um, Hmmm....I don't know cars really well, but I'd want to be something that's both flashy and secure, like a pimp-my-ride style audi :)
