Ready? LONG set of oneliners.

Nov 18, 2009 21:56

So, these are pretty much all the oneliners from the past um....month. Heh. I just never posted them. Godspeed, ya'll.

Phone: Jadeite had counted seven rings so far as he paced back and forth across the living room waiting for anyone to pick up.

Bubble: The pink, sticky substance all over the little girl’s face was a nightmare; this was the last time that Nephrite ever let Chibi-usa chew Bazooka gum.

Call me your darling: He looked at her sultry eyes and felt a tremor somewhere south of his belt after she had whispered in his ear, “Call me your darling” and ran her middle finger down his chest.

Put your lips together and blow: Michiru frowned as she watched her student trying to get her embouchure correct. “No. You just put your lips together and blow!”

He gave to her his wings and now she is free: As the last seconds of his life ebbed away, he smiled thinking of the innocent life he had just saved.

Hiccup (Sere/Zoi): The taller blond smiled evilly as he tugged on the pinned on bunny tail of her Halloween costume, causing her tiny body to rupture into spasms from the hiccups she got from the sudden intake of air.

That’s what sacrifice is, love: While Nephrite would have much rather been playing video games, he realized that that sacrifice was worth everything as he held the swaddled form of his first born in his arms.

Conversations in the dark: - The guilt of what he was doing never ceased to amaze him because every time they finished, they never seemed to have a genuine conversation.

Festival: He was amazed at the sheer amount of bare skin he saw around him; he hadn’t known that Venusian festivals celebrated the body so much.

Spice: Noah wasn’t aware of how interesting food could be until Makoto introduced him to spices.

Loser: It was infuriating for Zach to admit defeat, but there were no doubts about it-he had sorely lost this game of cootie to a four year old.

Anxiety: She wrung her hands and ignored the mascara running down her face with her tears and the tangled mess of her hair-all that was important now was knowing he was safe.

Christmas lights: Without her glasses on, Ami always loved how soft and blurry the world became; especially around Christmas time when the glittering lights glowed like fireflies in the snow.
Another day behind and I survived. General Kunzite had never expected the demise of his kingdom to linger as long as it did, yet somehow, each day he was glad he still survived.

You know there’s something wrong with a generation when their Vampires Sparkle.: Nephrite frowned as he read the passage out loud to his daughter for the third time wondering how on earth he and Makoto had allowed her to get this travesty of a book.

Trick or treat: The problem with living on the corner of a street, Mamoru figured out, was that every Halloween they constantly ran out of candy about five minutes in; no matter how much money they spent in candy-or it was simply that he couldn’t keep his wife and daughter from eating the majority of it beforehand.

Black cat: Artemis thought his Halloween costume was quite clever-until Chibi Usa accidentally dropped him in the bobbing for apples basin and washed off all the shoe polish.

Mask: Minako pouted as she watched the mask settle over his features once again; it didn’t have to be a masquerade or Halloween for him to hide his identity from her at a moment’s notice.

Standing on the edge of Nowhere, Euphoria is a long way down there: Mamoru had a guilty pleasure that he had never told anyone about and, as the haze of the drug settled deep into his senses, he knew he never would.

Your lips drop sweetness as the honey comb: Mamoru knew something was up by the sweetness of her smile-Usagi only smiled like that for two reasons: either she was about to go down on him, or she had done something very wrong.

The word was born in the blood, grew in the dark body, beating and flew through the lips and the mouth: He knew that once he had said it, he would never forgive himself for the evil he let roll off his tongue; yet somehow, he still continued the prayer.

Deep roots are not reached by the frost: Usagi couldn’t help the tears rolling down her face as the rose bush she had planted wilted in the winter sun, even though Mamoru took her hand and told her not to worry, for the roots were deep and strong.

With a look in ya eye so devilish: He knew-he just KNEW-that he was in trouble when the twin sets of eyes of his wife and daughter glittered with a hidden knowledge of some mischief.

How many licks does it take to get to the center?: “So? How many?” Jensen asked suggestively as he looked at his fiancé. “Ask the owl,” she responded as she smiled back at him.

Anything less than mad, passionate love is a waste of my time: Noah had never been one to date cold fish girls and, as Makoto sucked on the ice cube she had just traced down his body, he knew he’d never date one again.

Journeys end in lover’s meeting: She had never really felt as if she’d had a home before she looked into his eyes and felt safer than she ever had before.

An Art Lost: It had been seven years since the last time he had crushed sage into rice and as the scents wafted over him, Soren was quite saddened he had fallen out of touch with cooking.

Untouchable Star: She seemed so innocent and pure to be a being of incredible strength and power, which was why Mamoru fell more and more in love with her everyday.

Whiskey Lullaby: So far, Noah had only found two ways to quiet the sounds of screaming, the screech of metal on metal and tears-the bottle of southern comfort and some Coltrane tuned to a low frequency.

Lord of the Dance, but not the scary one: Irish dancing was one of Makoto’s secret hidden talents, and as Noah watched her practice in the bedroom in nothing but her nightgown, he decided it was his favorite.

Panties: It completely baffled him why there was a bow on the back of her panties that he could not untie, until he saw her turn around and shift out of them as he watched from the bed.

Love note: Jensen groaned as he rolled over to see a pink lacy note tied to his finger; Rei had the strangest taste in love notes, especially when they included requests for peanut butter.

Killer heels: Mamoru frowned as he crammed his foot into the shoes that he “needed” for his “special mission”; later he was going to have to kill Jensen for the five inch tall stilettos in size 14.

Picture: Ami turned bright red as she tried, unsuccessfully, to exit out of the window that Usagi had just sent her.

Beauty is pain: Minako pulled the strings of her corset so tightly Rei winced as she was yanked backwards, muttering “I’d like to breath you know”; only to have Minako respond, “beauty is pain, Rei.”

Let me take my love and bury it in a hole that’s six feet deep: Rei swayed on her feet as the feeling of loss swept through her; she’d never expected losing a friend to hurt so much and so instantly.

Yo Mama’s on the top of my to do list: Chibi Usa rolled her eyes, as this was a common occurrence; everyone of her boy friends seemed to want her mom, and Helios was no different.

One: Minako looked at the card that was left in her hands, and wondered why she was so upset over a man she had never really known at all.

Variety is the spice of Life: Noah smiled as he flipped the channel and Jimmy Buffet played on the radio; he smiled for the first time in weeks as he crossed the border into Mexico for a permanent vacation.

I will Find you: Soren growled as the horde of children ran away from his car, wondering what they could have done, then noticing the foam kitty on the windshield he let out a blood curdling scream of “I will find you, you little bastards!”

There’s no rest for the wicked until we close our eyes for good: No matter how many times he had left his hands bloodied by punching the brick wall of his apartment, he could never feel the pain over the pain that radiated from his soul outwards.

Tender Loving care: Artemis nestled down next to the sleeping feverish girl and purred; he may not have been able to give her soup, but he certainly could give her comfort and company.

Kiss me through the phone: Makoto absolutely hated it (or so she claimed)when she left her cell phone on and he would call her, drunk, in the middle of the night mumbling and making little sense, often finishing with a simple request before he drifted off to sleep over the phone.

I am confidence in insecurity: Though people always assumed by her cocky, bubbly exterior she had it made, in reality it was the insecurities of a secret life that ate her alive.

Take me Away: Jensen ruffled his hair in frustration as he passed back and forth down the perfume aisle, looking for the perfect birthday gift for his little girl, until he spotted a package of colorful bottles with the caption, “Take me Away.”

Amethyst: The scariest sight Zach had ever seen was the minute before the end, when the sky turned purple and didn’t fade to black, until he lost consciousness for well over a thousand years.

Use the Force: Minako had never had to squeeze into a pair of leggings quite as tight as these, and she was positive they weren’t going to fit over her bum-as she frustratedly exclaimed they wouldn’t fit, the designer walked by, snapped her bra strap and said, “Use the force, dear.”

This one time at band camp: Aneya pranced in before her father who was laden with her suit cases and her instrument cases save for the one small case containing the shrillest instrument known to man…the reason they had sent her to band camp in the first place.

That don’t impress me much: Rei raised an eyebrow as she looked at the crumpled looking sheets of paper that were strewn over the table, noticing some of them were vaguely shaped like cranes.

My Heart is Your Heart: Makoto nestled down against Noah’s chest and traced a shape of a heart over his, sighing in contentment for the first time in a long time.

Silk: Mars wrinkled her nose as she watched General Jadeite carefully prodding and feeding the little worms that were strewn over the ground, she didn’t know why they were so precious.

Simple Things: He’d seen eyes that shade only once before in his life-during a dream-and yet when he’d happened to glance her way, Nikolya was struck with how stunning they were in real life.

Brass ring: Her laughter rang out like the songbirds in the morning as she reached for the ring suspended above their heads, and Noah knew he’d never forget this moment with his eldest daughter.

It’s got to get bad before it gets good: The first night he slept on the couch he tried not to cry. Her eyes had been so cold during that first fight that he thought she’d never warm up to him again.

Steadily emerging with grace: When she was a little girl, Lindie was often mistaken for a boy. As she aged, she took on more and more of her mother’s features. By the time she turned sixteen, she was every bit as lovely and graceful as she was expected to be, even if she still wore shorts under her skirts.

If you got through that-- props, yo. :)
