In Israel, unlike other places perhaps, there is no place for street cats to go, they can either find a home, live on the streets or die. Seeing as there are shitloads of cats, some will probably always have to live on the street (at least until the whole capturing and neutering thing kicks in). Yeah, the treatment stray cats get here is just sad. There are exceptions, like the university cats, but mostly people don't give a shit.

I signed the petition. Then I showed it to my cat and told him how lucky he was, and that if he didn't behave I'd ship him off to Israel. He's clinging to my arm right now.

His bedtime stories have titles like "Why Mommy Will Never Love You" and "What She Does To Bad Little Kitties Who Cry All The Time". I love him to itty-bitty little pieces. Odd doesn't begin to describe it.

We can't stand his brother, though. Neither of us.
