[Say hi to Takuto again, Johto! He's smiling, but he has a bit of thoughtful, curious look on his face.]

So, uh... It sounds like everyone's really into the Christmas thing around here, huh? I guess it'll really be a "White Christmas!" At least it's a lot easier to move around now. I guess it doesn't hurt to wish a Merry Christmas in advance to ( Read more... )

It's going to be an incredibly White Christmas. Enough so that you could take a picture in the wilds and it could easily pass as a holiday greetings card!

Maybe people should take pictures and keep them ready for next year. [He laughs.] Well, I guess if there are still people at this time next year.

Actually... That's not a bad idea! Maybe I should invest in a camera... If nothing else, in the hopes I'll get to take it home.

Speaking of which, regarding your question-- I'm of the crowd who firmly believes time stands still back home while we're here. At least in the sense that we'll get dropped off right back where we were at the end of this.

If you did that, you'd have plenty things to take pictures of. It seems like there's a lot going on here.

...That time stands still? Are there a lot of people who think this happens?

[Scott Pilgrim is another person who's worrying about back home. But only because timelines confuse him and he wants them to go normally. Or something.] I dunno how time goes back home. I really hope it just pauses, or something. After all, I've got things to do.

Do you think that can be done...? [Awkward chuckle.] I kind of do too, so...

Even just going missing for that long would be problem, for anyone.

Let's just hope so. I mean... it'd be sad if I disappeared. [Sigh. Scott didn't like thinking about the fact that he really was gone from hime. But it was one of the things he had to think about, to pass the time.]

Yeah, I guess it would kind of suck for a lot of people. [He frowns for a second.] It sounds like a lot of busy people are the ones who get brought here.

[aw yes, something Neku has experience in]

You just go back to what you were doing before getting here.

--When you go home, I mean. It's weird.

[This face. Right here, right now.]

Wait -- it's really like that?

Yeah. But it's not like that if you get pulled here again.

[surprise snow makes Neku grumpy.]

So... if you get brought here, it's like time is paused back there. But if you leave, it keeps moving here. [Thinking about this for a second, to make sure he's got it right.]

Well, it's kind of a relief. At least I won't miss anything important back there...

Pokemon battling has actually been easier for mine.

Yeah? Huh...

I guess it depends on the types. But standing outside in the snow's kind of hard enough right now, even without the battling.

Yup! Mine's an ice type. I've actually been pitying the wild pokemon, but no mercy while training, riiight~?

Oh... yeah, I guess it makes sense that ice would do well. Mine's been okay too, but he's a fire type. [He laughs a little.] It wouldn't be much training if you had too much mercy, right? It's what they're supposed to be doing anyway.
