(((HUGS)))

Maybe it would be easier to focus on one issue at a time. I think it would be less overwhelming. And the other issues might just also get better too.

That's true. The problem is, I'm in the final year of my course, half way through, and behind a bit in the work.
So I really have to make an effort in that department.
I wasn't going to stress too much about my weight till next year, but it's gone too far and I need, for my health, to do something about it now.
There's no reason I can't tackle both at once, as I'm sure the one will help the other.
One step at a time, balancing it out between the two.

I know you can do this. I know I can too.
We've both done it before, after all.
This time, we're playing to win - and for keeps, yes?

And you can count me in, too! And so starts my Year of Getting Fit. Again. It's DAMN hard, but it's worth it. All we can do is our best, and try to focus on the changes we can make (and we can make them, if we're patient - which is so not my forte!!), rather than beating ourselves up for what we've done in the past. As the Buddhists say - ahimsa, which means 'nonviolence', and may be translated to mean: be kind to yourself, be forgiving to yourself, and be good to yourself, as well as others. **hugs** And yay for selling two pieces at the exhibition, that's great.
