If LJ ever goes down and doesn't come back up (like www.thegreatestjournal.com),  I do not plan to gravitate to any other like community.  I will however retain my galedreamer@hotmail.com email account indefinitely if anybody wants to be in touch.  Not that LJ's demise is imminent, but I remember feeling a panic years back when other sites closed;

I'd miss you!!!

I know everything has sort of toned down - and I mean really down, but I'd be sad to not have the possibility to "see" you around.

I should grade my students' work. Have been about all day so far and that is due to Christmas being soon and having the house full. I have such a headache at the moment that I consider cancelling a get-together with my friends in the afternoon.

There are so few of "us" left hanging around, but I still hope LJ says in business for a long time to come. It's pretty much the only way to stay in touch. I follow a few folks on Twitter, but I don't really tweet. And I'm on Facebook, but mostly for family. So come on LJ, don't let us down!!
