Joe...I think that it is great that you have insecurities about Prom and telling people how you really feel about them. It gives you character. But you really can't spend your senior year worried about little things like that. I'm sure to you they seem like really big situations, but in reality, they are minuscule to the things that you are going to face in the real world. You shouldn't be all caught up on things like these because it will only make it more difficult to face harder things in the future. My advice to you is to tell that girl how you really feel about her and ask her to prom. The worst thing that could happen in that situation is that she won't feel the same and say "no" to prom. If she says "no" to you, that means she is really not worth your time and she is probably stuck on herself because she doesn't see the beauty of who you are and the great person inside of you. I know that you don't like being rejected, no one does and I don't want to see you be rejected because it would hurt me as much as it would hurt you.

wow Joe, that was just whoa...And i agree with the person who comented first. Just tell the girl u like her and ask her to prom. Or maybe if u want, you could just ask her to prom as friends...and not tell her. And if she does say no, its not the end of the world, u can always ask another girl. i know its not the easiest thing to tell some one u like them...trust me i know. But being friends eith them is a good start. So just go with the flow. And have faith in the lord.
