Skillup questions

1. Is there any way to skill up enhancing magic other than casting Bar-spells on yourself repeatedly? That gets boring. My RDM is only 25, but I had one day a couple months ago where my PLD/RDM was getting enhancing skillups like you wouldn't believe. I even got two consecutive skillups casting Warp as a PLD/BLM

I'm not sure about the former >< my enhancing capped naturally, but only just recently hit cap (after leveling through SMN, PLD and BLM). What are you trying to cap it for? Unless you're RDM (see phalanx/stoneskin) I don't think it makes a huge difference for things like Protect and whatnot.

As for the latter, I hear the mandragora in Boyahda work very well too. As PLD you should be able to gather up a couple at once, or go to the upper level and fight the black mandies (their name escapes me atm ^^;)

I have this bizarre need/desire to cap all my combat and magic skills on what's currently my only level 75 job. I wanted to get enhancing and parrying out of the way before I did the rest of my weapons. Part of why I want to cap enhancing is for PLD/RDM, since I hear it can do a number of good things. I should probably take RDM to 37 first.
