My viola.......man reverie is a good skill I have developed. Not in the way of lingering in the past, but of being able to relive the experience, and feel the comforts of its memory. I pray every day to play again. But.....if it is so to be, that it is not to be, then I have confidence in my other abilities, and my love of musically theater ability

I feel your pain and longing to play again. I am not a musician, at least, not compared to you, but I know the deadness and frustration that envelops you when you realize that one of the things that gives you the most pleasure lies so tantalizingly close (and, in the case of your viola, you can literally touch it), but you're so far from being able to express your desire, through events beyond your control.
I wish you the very best in once again being able to play -- we knew one another briefly, some years ago, and you struck me then as an amazingly bright, tenacious, and talented young musician and scholar, and I'm sure that you still are.
Write some more entries -- you're a fine writer!
