This week has felt hectic, even though I doubt it actually was. I've been preparing stuff for my brother's birthday, which is difficult because I have a tendency to do it in a ~special~ way, and must outdo myself every year. But I think I've outdone myself this year, but what about next year? What then? It's all very difficult, but I love it really ( Read more... )

Shiny! I love new cars! I never had one myself. Most people in New Zealand don't buy new cars because they are super expensive. Basically all cars in New Zealand are second hand Japanese imports. They are pretty new though but much cheaper.

Wow, you learn something everyday! There always seems to be loads of new cars in the UK, which is odd considering the current economic climate...I think New Zealand probably has the right idea!

Well, it is more that we just don't have any car industry of our own, lol! :D So we don't see a lot of European cars in general. We mostly have Toyotas, and Mitsubishis, etc.

Haha, see, I never knew that either! Japanese cars are known for being cheaper and reliable, so it makes sense.

I LOVE the color! And Ford supposedly makes awesome cars that last a long time. I'm happy for you guys! It's always exciting getting a new car. And that's cool how your dad payed for it outright!

Hehe, I do find it mighty pretty :) Yeah, we always have Fords, and they do last a long time, which is really good. And, thanks! Ha, I think my dad's just been saving all this time so he could finally buy a car outright!

PRETTYYYY CAR. I love Fords. ♥ Also, I wish American cars had the steering wheels on the right side as well. It's actually really awkward having it on the left. o_O

Hee, thanks! I really love Fords; I guess it's been instilled in me from a family of Ford-lovers. Wow, I didn't know that at all, about it being awkward on the left x_x

Haha, really? I learned that a long time ago, how American cars are weird and different from the rest of the world. Or, I think so. I specifically learned that British cars have them on the right, but that might be all of Europe... idk. o_O

Oh no, I know that American cars have them on the left, but I didn't know it made them awkward if you were an American...sorry, I don't think I'm making much sense anymore. I think most of Europe has them on the left, or maybe I'm confused. Or the majority of the world has them on the left? IDK, sorry...I need to research my road orientation or something XD

Thanks so much! I had a good time on my brother's birthday, especially considering we got to drive there in the new car :D

Oh, I hope you manage to catch up on it! It's quite explosive.
