So,a few months back I bought The Writer's Tale: The Final Chapter and read about 3/4 of it before being distracted by fic and school and adopting a cat and the ridiculousness of being a third parent to my three little siblings...which is a shame, really, because it's Doctor Who and full of awesome and hilarious abandoned plotlines and might-have- ( Read more... )

Heehee, cute little reference to one of the maybe not totally the best things about the movie!

I'm totally thinking about kittens now, though! There are few things cuter than a little fluffy, purring ball pinning you in place with its adorableness alone!

I just sat down and watched the movie with the whole family last week, so it was especially fresh in my mind!

And oh yes, I've never had a pet bigger than a hamster, so the adjustment was odd when I adopted Rory last month! Two of my brothers adopted his siblings-they're called Sophie and Link, and all are too adorable for words!

(Rory looks quite a bit like the white cat in your picture, actually!)

So what was the verdict? ;) I find Eight very pretty, but have quite mixed feelings about parts of the plot!

Kitties are the best! I'm glad Rory got to stay with his siblings. And OMG SO CUTE AND FLOPPY *virtual cuddles* (I miss being owned by cats!) I hope Sophie and Link are properly training your brothers in how to be under the thrall of cats. :-D

(Here they are again, slightly drunk. ;) And he totally does, though his face is more white. BTW, have you seen the foster kitten cam? I think they're close to adoption but one of the cats also looks a bit like Rory and Crinkle.)

Well, it was entertaining enough. Loved Paul McGann, of course! But I agree about the plot. I was facepalming quite a bit!

Oh they really are! Link and his human live about 5 minutes away, so we bring them back and forth to visit each other every once in a while. Sophie and Rory are the bestest of friends and always look for each other when we let them out of their respective rooms every morning :)
(It's very funny to me because Sophie won my younger brother over completely when we went to the Humane Society to adopt Rory. My bro's a dog person, wholeheatedly, but she melted his manly little heart and he ended up coming back for her two days later!)

No, I hadn't heard of it, but that's awesome! Just looked it up and will probably follow them from now on. That's awesome.
