I'm no math person, but I love this so much. I love how Merlin did it rather accidentally and randomly, and how Arthur's ego would be a listed author, and and and so many good lines! My only problem is that there isn't enough. ;D If you are so inclined, I'd love to read more in this 'verse. ♥
Neither am I. The fact that it seems remotely math-y is thanks to renrenren3. The rest of the math!fail is all ME. I intended for Merlin to actually know what he was doing, and Arthur to be too engrossed in the details of his project to notice the simpler answer. I know I've definitely been stuck on a problem that I was convinced was some big nasty thing only to realize the solution was something incredibly simple and obvious when I stepped back and looked at it as a whole or in a different light, which is where Merlin steps in. Thank you so much! I had fun and learned stuff while writing this, but I don't really think I could do this 'verse justice. Again, thank you for reading and commenting!
Thank you for such a fun prompt! :D (I ♥ your username, by the way) I started off just commenting that I love the nerdiness and can see it going down a bit like this, and by the time I had half the dialogue written, I figured I might as well fill the prompt. ^^;; I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)
