I read the last chapter of A Game of Thrones not twenty minutes ago, and while the pace is slow and some of the chapters arduous (I'm looking at you Ned), the payoff at the end of the book is fantastic.  I took the entire day and used my time to make an icebox cake, which I actually didn't know even existed until yesterday. It was very fun and it looks absolutely delicious. I took the recipe from SmittenKitchen and have enclosed it below (with commentary!). While their recipes may be delicious, most of them are hard to make or require expensive  ( Read more... )
