buggers

While myclevername is wrestling with the bedbug-infestation-that-was-not, my workplace is now waging a war with cockroaches. Cockroaches.

You betcha I'm shakin' everything before I leave for home.

Fresh water diatomaceous earth is your friend.

Or boric acid. DE is really safe for humans and pets, but boric acid will kill roaches if they cross the line.

I now, officially, know too much about killing bugs.

As much as I'd luv to, I don't think ppl at work will look too kindly upon it. Our building management team is supposed to be on it, but the first roach siting was a month ago! Oi oi.

Die, pests, die.

We had a roach in the first suite we stayed in out here (Moncton).

Being a couple of savy and mildly intellectual men, we of course beat the crap out of it with a shoe. Worked out pretty well actually. Those suckers bounce real good off a hardwood floor.

So, find a shoe ... a sneaker is best.
Put on your best war paint.
Stalk and stomp.

Somehow, not as professional course of action at the workplace...

Make it a team building exercise.

I know, I know I'm full of great ideas. No need to thank.
