I had to work today, and Vario was wonderful enough to wake up early and drive me to work. Even more so with making and delivering me a lunch so I wouldn't starve, all with poor Kenny in tow. Good fish
Another day, another con, and more loot and props to bring home. Again we hung out with Mom's crew, and Vario was awesome helping out tear down the display and carting away all the heavy stuff. This weekend has been really cool so far. I've been hanging out with my Mom at her first convention ever, where she's exhibiting (dealer table like) and even has had a few speaking sessions! Go Mom! :D Vario has also been awesome in attending with me and hanging out with Mom's crew, even though I know he's mostly bored at these kind of things. ( Read more... ) -

It's amazing what you find in the nooks, crannies and drawers of a pack rat. I have so much junk that I'm emptying out, and maybe only 20% of it is truely trash - the rest is going to donations or I'm keeping a small portion. I think that portion is only around 5%. This morning Vario woke me up early to see if I wanted to accompany him in taking his car in for service downtown. I asked him why, and his reason? So he could "get down there faster" - implying that I made up the two person quota for the carpool lane, skipping lots of traffic. I rolled over. return to the capital
Well with the way things are working out lately (which are quite well!) I think I'll be in the wa-wa-wa region again mid to late next week. Again for another week, split between two weeks. Did that make sense? Anyways, less of the home-purging this time and more of the friends-hanging I think :3 -
