So I checked out Mercedes Bridal today. Turns out the dress I ordered for Prom won't be ready until July14. >.O The owner's instead going to wash any print off the sample, and loan it to me for prom

Uhm, that's retarded. You should beat them up. And you should most definitely not buy the finished dress. Seriously, though, the dress on the rack didn't fit you, and she figures that's gonna "make it up to you"? That is some serious bullshit. And you should most definitely try to get your deposit back. Because since you're not getting anything, you shouldn't have to pay for it. That is some lame ass customer service, yo.

I just talked to my mom, who works in the mall, as you know, and she said that people shopping in her store have told her of similar problems with Mercedes.

She suggested, and I agree, that as much as you love the dress, you should ask for your deposit back (since the deposit is there in case you never pick the dress up, rather than them being unable to sell you what you paid for), and tell them that they can go fuck themselves and you'll get a dress someplace else. Seriously. I'll do it if you don't want to. I would love to tell them to fuck off. Because that is some messed up shit.

You know that if you were an adult, or if your mom was there, they would not be trying to pacify you with that bullshit. SO don't stand for that.

But where am I going to get another dress 2 weeks before prom? Sadly, these fuckers decided to tell me this when it was too late. And everything I got is based on the idea that I'll have That dress. I agree with asking for my deposit back, whole heartedly, but I feel there's nothing else I can do for a dress.
And don't say anything about my mom, she doesn't know. Last thing I need is her rubbing it in my face.

Ok, I think I've worked something out. Screw the loan, my Dad's taking me down to Saint John tomorrow, and Lynsey's gonna show me around a few dress shops there. We're gonna try and find something off the rack, there's bound to be something there.
