So yesterday I went to see Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End with Greg, Ben, and Andrew. This is my review of it, and I'll try to cut it down into the short nonspoiler version, then the long spoiler filled version for those who have already seen the movie, or don't want to and just want to know what went on ( Read more... )

I actually think this was my favorite of the series. I was definitely surprised by how good it was ( ... )

Mmm, that was a huge rant at plot holes, I was thoroughly entertained by the movie, it was damned funny! Though I still have to say that the first is my favorite.
My beef with Calypso is that she didn't really have an ending. She did sort of bugger off into nothing, I would have liked some kind of resolution to her stoy, or the story of her and Davy Jones. I don't know, I guess I'm biased because I was Not a fan of the 50 foot woman. I would have prefered something a bit more... epic? XD
Sao Feng's thing was that Chow Yun Fat was on the big poster, given credit in trailers, but the guy had only 15 minutes screen time. I wanted more, so very very much more.
Elizabeth being the pirate king? Yeah, Jack did it, I'm mostly glaring at the writers. Did Kiera's manager have a talk with them or something? Sorry guys, she's not THAT great. >.

Yeah, I agree that Sao Feng was a bit of a waste of the wondrous Chow Yun Fat. And I also agree that the movie was damned funny and generally good.
