Lucky number 8

Jun 05, 2007 12:28

You all know how this works, it's a meme. While I got this from PPP, ( Skeet's Stuff to be exact) I'll probably tag a few of your LJ readers as well. It's been a while since I've seen some good old fashioned open surveys here on LJ. This is also posted at my other blog, http://muffinmumblings.blogspot.com with a few different answers. Heh, yea, I guess I should have mentioned that blog earlier huh? Oh well, feel free to roam and read it. I'll use it to post a few more artsy things than this one, but I'll still have DA updates here.

Anyway, enough with the train of thought entry, on to the survey!

Each player lists 8 facts/habits about themselves. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning before those facts/habits are listed. At the end of the post, the player then tags 8 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

Hooray! read my blog people ^.^:

1. I'm obsessed with keeping certain spoons on the bottom of the pile. I like these spoons a lot, they look different from all the others, so every time I see them out of place in the utensil drawer, I instantly correct it. It's OCD, most definitely.

2. I can't do a headstand. I haven't been able to successfully do so since elementary school, when I was in gymnastics. I'm always afraid I'll break my neck and die. That is a pretty dumb way to die.

3. I used to not move my lips when I spoke. In elementary school I had a woman (who dealt with the special ed kids) visit me weekly during class and take me outside to practise speaking while moving my mouth. Sometimes I revert back to not moving my mouth, just to see if I can.

4. I've been to two continents and numerous countries, but I'm still terribly jealous of my cousin even though she has visited fewer places than me. She got to live abroad in both Sweden and Africa for several months.

5. The only celebrity I have met not at a convention is LL Cool J. I bumped into him in a New York restaurant. Literally. My party was leaving and I wasn't watching when I pushed the door open. He was on his cell phone and just brushed me off, I felt a little awkward. Now I always look out when I open restaurant doors, for fear I might run into another famous person.

6. I've never used a lasso in my life. I'm a little sad about that. I have worn cowboy boots and hats, as well as ridden horses in Colorado. Hell, I even went to rodeos. But in all those years that I lived there, I never got to attempt (and fail) at wrangling a calf.

7. I was never picked on in elementary school, at least not to my face. I've always been an outsider, but never teased or hassled. Heh, nobody made fun of my looks, even though they were dreadful back when I was younger.

8. Sometimes I wonder if I should have gone into business or psychology. There's several reasons for this, chief among them being how the hell am I going to live a cushy life if I rely on freelance work. Also, schools that offer that, even really good ones, are cheaper than art school.

Okay, this is the strange and awkward part I guess. I tag: Aimee, J-dawg, Melissa,Anoopa, Stephanie,Rachel

If anybody else wants to do this, feel free and leave a comment with a link to your post! I'm always interested in reading answers to this type of survery. ^.^
