will still develop your film for under $4 per roll, but they now seem to be doing so at just one lab in Maryland, instead of letting you take your pick of six different ones in Boston, Pittsburgh, etc.  The new mailers also no longer offer the "budget" option of getting 3x5 prints for like 90 cents less ( Read more... )

You know--this is SO random but YESTERDAY I was thinking about this company and wondering if they were still around, and I figured they must have folded. I'm glad to hear they are still alive.

Yes, I get the impression that they sort of eke along, doing some of the print-from-digital online business, too.

We sometimes use them for vacation photos, photo books (which make nice family gifts), cheezy holiday-border prints of the dog, etc.

The most hilarious service they offer has to be "mail us your MEDIA CARD, and we'll make prints from it and mail everything back to you." Somewhere, there's a senior citizen who doesn't understand how to "get the photos off the camera" using that service.
