Hm. Okkervil river? I love it to bits but much of it is kinda not-so-upbeat, which you seem to prefer. Some of it is, though, I'll send over if you want. 8) And The Decemberists! They're wonderful. Aaaand M. Ward, Johnossi, José González, Nouvelle vague, Madness, Neutral milk hotel and Woven hand. All stuff you'd probably like.

Oh wait. Cd's, not artists. I have no idea what you have and haven't but as to albums it's all subjective so I don't know what to recommend of each anyway, omg. Just get The Crane Wife by The Decemberists and the new The Shins. And Transistor radio or Transfiguration Of Vincent by M. Ward.
