Meg, I cannot argue with you on the whole outsider thing. Fuck, the Japanese even proudly admit that the do it! That blows my mind after all the fuss they put up about painting a nice modern image for the Western world. They say, yeah but we exlude everyone outside of our world, and then act like they are proud of it. But what can we silly gaijin do? I am beginning to feel more secure in my own identity than I did even in America and I suppose that can be a good thing. I cut my hair, and straightened it. It does not look or feel like my hair. I am in utter shock. arienai... I also left my umbrella at your place. So when can I see you again? I want my umbrella back!
