I'm commenting on this entry since it's where you mentioned locking previous posts, but I believe you once linked to my write-up on The Lion King and Star Wars ( in this entry, which I can no longer see), so I just wanted to thank you for doing so, even though it's been quite a long time at this point. :)
I'm always glad to encounter a similar sense of humour, and the Golden Boy seems to fascinate a lot of people...I had a visitor from the States here recently who took several photos of it.
Thinking back on it... I may have told you... yeah... I have a vague memory of that (real or implanted during my creation at the Tyrell Corporation?)
I was in Canada (for some reason) when they were doing repairs on the statue several years ago, and a story about it appeared in some of the newspapers.
That is how I first heard about it. It is kind of an odd statue. Makes me feel kind of uncomfortable. And yet, it seems quite popular.

Even including a strange fascination with Manitoba's Golden Boy.
