I feel the same way abut the movie. I don't want to want to see it, but I'll probably be in the theatre anyway., hating the fact that I'm enjoying myself.
You're not missing anything with Avatar. I saw it, but the storyline is average at best. I went for the visuals (Imax 3D, for the record) and once was enough. No need to obsess.
*Not James Cameron's or whoever's shit. I have an irrational aversion to that movie and refuse to see it.
SO I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO DOESN'T WANT TO SEE IT?
I feel the same ways about certain movies/shows too, I don't like them but I love their trailers. But I highly doubt that the Last Airbender is going to be good. Like, if it is honestly good I am going to build a bomb shelter because the end of days is upon us. The bending is kind of pretty, although I want to see more battles with the Fire Nation made of pure badassery instead of just NINJAS NINJAS NINJAS.
