Title: Don’t Fight The Future
Characters: Gabriel/Peter Petrelli
Rating: NC-17
Warnings: Graphic sexual content
Word count: ~800
Setting: Shattered Salvation (not that it’s important - any generic future with Gabe and Peter together will work)
Summary: Gabriel has a precognitive dream and sets about making it come true.
Notes: I wrote this a year and a half ago!

Peter flopped down on the couch and ran his hand through his hair. It had been a rough day and tour three had run late. He was glad to be working though, doing something normal. He was glad to be here with Gabriel, too. That, too, had become “normal” for his life.

“So what are we doing tonight?” he asked when Gabriel set aside his laptop finally.

Gabriel smiled. “Oh, we’re going to go somewhere with a hot tub and we’re going to sit in it until we’re relaxed. You’re going to feed me grapes and cheese cubes, then we’ll get out and I’ll lie on the bed while you give me a massage. When I can’t stand it anymore, I’ll roll you over, lube you up with the massage oil and take you on the bed - missionary position, with a pillow under your butt, by the way - and after that we’ll get back in the hot tub and I’ll do you.”

Peter blinked at him, a bit taken aback. “Wow. You… have that all scripted out, do you?”

Gabriel shrugged. “I saw the future. I have no idea why I saw that. Usually, you know, future scenes seem a little more earth-shattering, but it’s good sex and we both have a really great time.”

Peter laughed. Gabriel joined him and said, shaking his head, “I’ll tell you what, if precognition was like that more often, I’d use it more. Generally it’s scary stuff.”

“Huh,” Peter said. “Well… I really don’t see any reason to fight the future. Hot tub, huh? Where was it?”

“Hotel, I think. One of the more expensive ones. We had the lights off and were using candles. We had some wine, but I don’t think either one of us liked it.”

Peter stuck out his lower lip for a moment. “Okay. Hotel it is.”

They found a place and got a suite. Gabriel set up the room while Peter went out to buy a prepackaged fruit and cheese appetizer tray. He opened it up, grumped about cutting himself on the hard plastic clamshell it was packed in, and set it next to the hot tub. They climbed in and turned on the jets.

Everything went as planned: relaxation, massage, sex on the bed and then back into the tub. They opened the wine even, and agreed that indeed, neither of them liked it. The fruit tray was a big hit though, especially at the end as Gabriel crouched over Peter’s lap, Peter’s shaft in his hand under the warm water, Gabriel’s other hand picking up delicacies and feeding them to Peter one at a time. Peter reached down and started stroking him in turn when Gabriel hit on the idea of holding a grape in his lips and having Peter take it directly from his mouth. The kissed languidly, rolling the bit of fruit around with their tongues before Gabriel finally withdrew, leaving it for Peter to eat.

It was a power trip and an intimacy that made them both ache.

“You’re so sweet. I love you,” Gabriel intoned.

They traded a slice of strawberry back and forth, each biting off small bits until it was gone and repeated with a grape. Gabriel offered it in his mouth and Peter took it, bit it in half and extended half with his lips for Gabriel to take from him and eat in turn.

Peter put his head back, mouth slack as he breathed hard, and refused the next offering. “No, no. I’m close.”

Gabriel slid back, escaping Peter’s hand on his member. He hadn’t recovered enough for another round anyway, though it wasn’t like he was going to decline the contact. He kissed down Peter’s neck, chewing and sucking, giving him hickeys that faded as soon as his lips moved on. Peter moaned, then groaned and Gabriel felt his cock surge in orgasm. He stroked more slowly, rising to gently French kiss Peter’s mouth, running his tongue back and forth across Peter’s lips until he moaned again and finally turned his face away. They embraced.

“That was great,” Peter purred to him. “You are the best lover I’ve ever had, Gabriel.” He kissed him on the side of the head. “Thank you for loving me.”

Gabriel smiled. “You say that like it’s tough to do.”

Peter lifted his brows once. “I’ve got my moments.”

“Yes, you do, and I love them.” Gabriel kissed him again and they enjoyed the rest of the night.
