Ok, so some of you may know this, but some of you may not. I got a job composing music for a film called Fishwrap (which is apparently slang for "a newspaper of ill repute"...which fits in with the plot) I was given two weeks to finish the music for it, and this Saturday will be the one week mark. I think all artists are more critical of their work than other people. I know I am. In many ways the director is probably a better judge than you are at the moment. So congratulations on a job well done.

ps-no one ever leaves a movie saying. "God, who did that music? that was terrible! who was that? I want to spit in his eye and make sure he never gets another job!"
...though come to think of it, maybe I should start leaving movies that way.
