Dream's office, over the weekend

Dream's lesson plans are done, for the moment, and he reviews them a final time as he sits in his office.

Looking at his preliminary class rosters, he is pleased to see most of his classes will be small groups, though of course there is room for more.

He hopes the capable-sounding girl who asked to be a TA will stop by.

Zero knocks at Professor Dream's door. "Er, Professor, I had a quick question."

Dream rises from his chair. "Miss Hopeless-Savage. Hello. What could I help you with?"

"I've been accepted Early Decision to film school, provided I, y'know, meet the university's requirements for enrollment. One of them's, er, two semesters of the same foreign language. So, I've taken Cat, and now I'm signed up for Creature Languages--hopefully I'll get in. Can I get some sort of paper saying those are a sequence?"

"Of course. Your backing in Cat will be more than helpful in Creature Languages, and I expect to do a unit on jungle cats next semester," Dream says, steepling his fingers slightly. "Would a letter from me suffice, or is this something we need to speak with Principal Smith about?"

Dream rises from his seat. "Come in," he says simply.

He isn't trying to be intimidating, but he tends to have that effect nonetheless.

Dream rises from his chair and offers his hand for Sydney to shake. It is cool and quite dry.

"Yes, Ms. Bristow. I'm honored to meet you, and it sounds like you're quite qualified."

"Please take a seat," he says, gesturing to the chair across from his desk.
