I love this fic so bloody much, it's a lovely AU - how you wish they could have been there for each other when they were younger. This chapter is just lovely, such a wonderful (and succinct) way of showing them growing closer over a longer period of time. Thank you so much!!

It all started when I was rewatching some S1 stuff and headcanoning pre-Dalton Blaine and wishing they had been friends back then. I think it would have been really good for them. Especially not dating right away, much like in this story.

Oh, boys. This fic is so lovely, and this chapter resonated in particular. It was very poignant. I really liked this line:

He misses him so much that it aches sometimes, worse than the ache he felt before there was ever a Blaine to miss.

And, of course, the letters.
