So tonight, after work, Zatch was watching The Daily Show. At the very end, they showed a clip from Fox News. The "weather" man was showing the temperatures in Iraq. Then he said something along the lines of "it's hot and they don't have air conditioners like we do". Now Zatch cracked up at this comment and I asked Zatch what was so funny.

I think the part that's funny is that he'd say that in the first place (like a shock kind of thing). The Iraqis are poorer than we are and many live in substandard housing. Additionally, there are still places without power and brownouts occur in even populated areas.

I'd have laughed too, but it's not, strictly speaking, funny.

Thanks. LOL. I guess my humor just isn't the same...because I understand everything you said...I guess it was more that the guy was pointing out the obvious. I dunno.

I was kinda worked up about it last night, now I don't really care. ;)
