The openness is fear. How many times have we tried to be open and only had it burn us? How often can you trust another to not judge? Human nature makes this inevitable. Or is it possible that we hold so many secrets of someone else's life that if we were to open up they may just do the same. Or perhaps a threat of I will distance myself from you because you could be a liability .
These are things i have heard or been told .Or better yet one shouldn't hang their dirty laundry out to dry on lj. My opinion is If people treated peolpe right then they would have no fear of being exposed. We all need someone to listen to our woes but most people to busy or too wrapped up in themselves. So we cautiously write things .Wanting someone to hear and listen but deaf ears and blind eyes are all we get but the the monkey doesn't cover his mouth. Every skellington rattles his bones behind the closet door waiting for the door to open so he can get out.
