I saw in a random comments thread that she was being taken to audition for American Idol...was that true?

She participated in a tiny audition for the county WITH a couple American Idols hosting, but she's also been in countless competitions and has sang at different fairs, gatherings and radio stations too. Sorry it took me a while to get back to you on that, I didn't know the answer to your question.
