Hasbro owns Transformers, Hasbro does the Star Wars toys (I also believe that George Lucas owns a chunk of Hasbro). While Transfomers and Star Wars are two of my favourite things I don't think they mesh that well together. The Luke/X-Wing one looks really shocking. Have you actually seen them in stores locally?
Thats just wrong. I remember many many (many) years ago, a friend and I discussed the idea that Lego should sooooo have Star Wars themed toys. Then they came out. WITH A VENGEANCE! They were a good idea when I was 12, but they didn't start coming out till I was 15, and they went waaaayyyy to overboard with the new prequels toys. Just kinda ruined it for me. The moral of the story? I miss being able to love Star Wars without a sorry reminder of reality. DAMN YOU LUCAS!!!
Get with the program... they came out aaaaaages ago!
They are so just for the collectors.
Any 8 year old will tell you the little obi-wan's and little darth vaders just fall straight out of their cockpits. And the wings on the x-wing don't even fold out into an 'x' shape properly. Its like they weren't even made for kids to be able to play with them. Who wants transformers just to stick them on the shelf anyway?
something random
